Chest Pain and Heart Attack Symptoms

Chest pain

Chest pain is the most common of all heart attack symptoms. But, there are other heart attach symptoms such as those listed below.

  • Throat or jaw pain radiating to the left shoulder
  • Pain that radiates down the left arm
  • Shortness of breath
  • Mid-back pain radiating to chest
  • Chest tightness or pressure
  • Chest discomfort (severe heartburn unrelieved with anti-acids)

These heart attack symptoms may also be accompanied by:

  • Fainting
  • Nausea
  • Sweating
  • Dizziness

Don't ever ignore heart attack symptoms. The longer you wait to get help with your heart problem, the greater the chance your heart will be permanently damaged. If you feel any of these heart attack symptoms, you should go to the Chest Pain Center in the Emergency Department at your local medical center right away.
